Overweight women adopt babies

I read this post on Adoption.com last night ‘Adoption and the weight connection.’

It was an interesting read. One of the facts about adoptive moms list says Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) affects 15-20 percent of women. I can tell you from personal experience (and it’s mentioned in the post too) that one of the side effects is obesity. (Yes, my favorite! That and hair loss. Gosh, I’m at a loss to which one I love being afflicted by the most.)

Oh yea, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m an adoptive mom too.
